Every year at the annual PA Legislative & Legal Conference, a collection is held for the SHRM Foundation. At this year’s conference, held on April 22, attendees donated a record of $1,465!! Each chapter was asked to provide a donation basket filled with products from their area. Attendees purchased raffle tickets to win a basket of goodies.
Several companies in the York area including York Revolution and Brown’s Orchard among others, and a York SHRM member, Deb Olphin, donated Items for the York SHRM basket .
Congratulations to Karen Carr, a member of Greater Valley Forge HR Association, who won the York SHRM basket.
Thank you to all who donated the items and services! To fund its programs, the SHRM Foundation conducts an annual fundraising campaign. The Foundation recognizes the generous support of the SHRM chapters and state councils, individuals, corporations and others who make its work possible.
